Kriz Olbricht
Blind Pig, 2018–2021
To begin with, Kriz Olbricht designed the spacial setting of the Till Ten bar. Starting with painterly and sculptural questions, his work examines the interplay of material, form and space and the arising social implications. He often works with simple building materials, tapping a given situation’s unexpected potential through targeted, site-specific interventions. Within the Till Ten bar, Olbricht’s sculpture Blind Pig defines a stage-like room, which, in its functional sobriety, leaves the playing field open to the bar’s respective guests and visitors.
